Professional Life

The Guidance Institute Dr. Gil attended between 1968 and 1973 at the University of Rochester was the most significant event in his professional life. It was during this momentous period that he was introduced to The Human Potential Movement, 1953 – 1973+. This basically forgotten period of incredible research regarding the inner process for becoming a total human being became, for him, a life-changing experience. He very quickly became intrigued with the fragmented and uncoordinated pieces of the inner process for acquiring total wellness that were being researched by some of the most brilliant writers of the day. Dr. Gil loves to teach, facilitate, support, and challenge his audience.

Self-knowledge, Spiritual Knowledge, Living Knowledge

He is a dedicated, easy-going, kind-hearted, loving, self-confident teacher, guide, and inspirational coach who lives and teaches the essentials of Human Potential. He wrote Quiet Resistance: Self-knowledge, Spiritual Knowledge, Living Knowledge.

It is one of the only truly comprehensive, emotional/mental/physical/spiritual/social prevention mental health programs available. This book challenges you to love a loving God with all your heart, soul, and mind; and, to love all your neighbors as you love your inner Self.

One of Dr. Gil’s aims is to empower individuals to walk among the disbelievers, the critics, the naysayers, and the fear-mongers. He invites you to walk on an inner path leading to the top of the mountain simply by reading the lessons, completing the unique activities, and discussing the knowledge, insights, and life skills presented with like-minded individuals.
